Biography

Stephanie Melvin is a photographer hailing from the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia who now resides in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She has been interested in the arts since she was very young, when she drew often and played piano. She fell in love with photography when she was in high school, but as a teenager, it did not immediately occur to her to follow photography as a career. After highschool, she worked in customer service and began a bachelors degree at Saint Thomas University. At the age of twenty, she decided to take her passion to the next level and enrolled at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where she is now studying photography.

She has experience photographing families, couples, events, and cosplayers. Her current interests lie in fashion photography, landscape photography and fine art portraiture. She always strives to bring something new and cutting edge to her photography.

Her short term goals after graduating from NBCCD include starting her own business and conducting various independant projects. She looks forward to a long, fulfilling and successful career in photography. Her long term goal is to educate up and coming photographers and host work shops.

Stephanie is all booked up until April of 2017, but after that point, she would be honoured to photograph you or your event!
